Servants of God and to the Church of Jesus Christ

Not To Please Men, Nor To Please Myself, But To Please God.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those who find them, and health to all their flesh.     Proverbs 4: 20-22  ( KJV)

The goal of this ministry is to stand before God and hear him say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

As a young man our founder sought where God would use him in the mission field. God showed him his calling was to support those willing to go. To paraphrase a secular proverb: It is better to send a hundred than try to do the work of a hundred. At Junior Partner Ministries our emphasis is training, sending, and caring for those who labor in Christ's fields.

Jesus said to his disciples, "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest." Matthew 9:37,38 (KJV)

Our primary calling is therefore to meet the laborer's spiritual and financial needs as God directs.

Ministry assets will be dispersed as directed each year, any remainder will be invested (see Speculation Rules to investigate our investment philosophy) . The anticipated result is a greater amount given each following year. At the Bastiat Free University school of theology we would call this a college donation to an endowment fund. God is welcome to change the rules any time he wishes. If he wants 100% of monies to go to one ministry, and us to fold up JrPM, we will.

We will not judge the use of funds we give. God is judge. Once God has directed us to give, it is the responsibility of recipients to use a gift as God directs them.

We have, so far, seldom engaged in long term support. We have instead opportunistically responded to ministry opportunities and favorable circumstances where a one time infusion of capitol can make a sustained difference. We may see a missionary family that has not had a vacation in years. We may find a Kenyan Pastor who has traveled to America at God's leading. We may find an evangelist in need of equipment.

We give as God directs, and how he directs. We have assisted in construction and also given training, travel and accommodations, ministry materials, and equipment. The Holy Spirit guides us to the circumstances where resources are to be applied.

God's will, our action, their responsibility to God.

If you are led to give us, pray first and let God direct your giving. If you want money to go to a particular ministry or type of Ministry; pray and research to discover where and how God wants you to give. If you are led to give

to Junior Partner Ministries do it cheerfully, with the knowledge we will seek God's direction as to management and disposition of funds. Our stewardship responsibility is to give cheerfully at God's direction.

Read all of II Corinthians chapter 9. We will start about half way through verse 6 "He which soweth sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

We do want and need your prayers; how 'bout saying a prayer for us right now?

Thanks.

Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb of God that died for your sin.  A simple "I love you" is always nice to hear.      Jesus Loves you too!
